About The Trainer
Hi, I’m Amelia - a total nerd with a passion for helping dogs and their humans.
5 years ago, I decided to change my life forever. After working in corporate jobs from the age of 17, I knew I had to take a leap and pursue my dreams. I decided to retrain with the Victoria Stilwell Academy and after handing in my notice, I started taking on clients in my local area.
I quickly realised how much I loved helping people and knew I wanted to share the world of force free training with as many people as possible.
Since then I’ve built a community of over 250,000 people across social media and am lucky enough to work with clients all over the world.
I love nothing more than helping people to love life with their dogs and I’m so excited to have you on this journey with me.

My Ethics
Judgement free sessions.
Being a dog owner in the modern world can feel like you’re constantly being judged and shamed, even when you’re doing your best. So we’ve designed our sessions to be a judgement free space where our focus is to work with you.
Modern training methods.
We are dedicated to keeping up to date with modern, ethical training techniques. We focus on force free methods, that incorporate positive reinforcement and science based training techniques.
You may have been told that in order for your dog to learn, you have to be an “alpha” or “pack leader” and that you have to display your dominance. Well let me re-assure you in the fact that this is definitely not true. Thanks to modern science, we now know that the traditional “pack structure” we used to believe existed in wolves, isn’t quite true. They are actually much more closely aligned to human families, where the parents are in charge, and when they grow too old to look after the pack, their kids take over and so on. We also know that thanks to selective breeding, any form of pack mentality is long gone from domestic dogs. Dogs have been purpose bred to work which humans, which makes them extraordinary learners. Did you know that dogs are one of the best species at reading human emotions?
Thankfully, modern dog training takes all of this into account. We have now developed an ethical and humane way to train dogs which focuses on the bond between humans and dogs, making things fun and motivational for both parties.
Where trainers used to believe that behavioural problems such as aggression were simply a display of dominance, we now understand that there are deeper causes to these behaviours such as fear and anxiety which means that trying to punish these behaviours is more likely to make it worse. That’s why our training methods focus on addressing the root cause and working through the underlying issue, so you know that you have a permanent solution for your dog, not just a temporary, quick fix.
